Pastor Meshack Wafula

I would like to thank God for connecting me to you brother through his own unique way.  I am so grateful for your consideration, and approval of my application to be a VIAM ministry partner.  With that connection I whole heartedly accept the invitation. I pastor a small church in the rural area of western Kenya (in Tranz-nzoia County) - Grace Baptist Church is the name of the church. I have 40 members, 18 youths, and 24 Sunday school children.

Amongst this church family we have some who are orphans, widows and the aged who of late have been unable to attend due to their age bracket.  I am an active door-to-door evangelist which has enabled me to reach many people within the surrounding community with the gospel. I am married to my beloved wife Winner Wafula and the lord has blessed us with four lovely children; Emacculate Wafula, Joshua Wafula, Ezekiel Wafula, and lastly Praise Wafula.  We are raising them in a Godly way. All of the four are still in their primary school.

Some of my prayer requests which of course need to be shared with friends and partners:

1.       We as a church have a very small mud church building. We had started brick making project to enhance the building of a more specious and more durable church building. We are praying that the Lord should intervene because this work is costly and as per now we don't have money (according to the government directive, the current building cannot accommodate the 40 adults due to the Corona Virus Issue.)

2.       Prayers for our church orphans; We have 10 of them and they are really vulnerable, and as a church we are not in a position to help them in any way more especially with food and clothing.

3.       Pray for my family, We need to be strong economic wise more especially food security so that we can dedicate ourselves fully in the work of God.

To that point, let me say thank you so much,

Your ministry partner,

Pastor Meshack Wafula
